Biography
Shiney Ahuja is a son of an army commander and was born on May 15 1973
in New Delhi. Joining the armed forces was his ambition, but then he
got attracted to Theatre and he joined Barry Johns acting School in
Delhi. Barry is a famous name as he trained Shahrukh Khan.
Shiney came to Bombay with a dream to make it like the Shahrukh. Shiney
started modeling and did many commercials for Cadbury, Park Avenue,
Raymonds, but it was Peter England shirts that gave face value to
Shiney. Shiney also did a music video for Stereo Nation and was spotted
in that by Farhan Akhtar, who asked him to audition for Dil Chatha
Hai. Shiney bagged a role in the movie, but could not do it due to
some unknown reasons.
Shiney got married to a topnotch corporate woman Anu Ahuja. Shiney
joined Mahesh Dattani s workshop in the mean time to brush up his
acting skills. Shiney Ahuja signed Sins directed by Vinod Pandey as
his debut project; the movie gave rise to controversies as Shiney
played the role of a Church priest who has a sexual relation with a
younger woman.
Shineys second movie was Kal directed by Ruchi Narayan; the two
were also romantically linked. Sudhir Mishras Hazar Khwashion Aisi
made the audiences sit up and take notice of Shineys talent. Mahesh
Bhatt signed him for Gangster and the movie made him a star.
Shiney Ahuja is regarded as one of the rising stars in Bollywood, but
his image is that not of an emblematic commercial hero, who can dance
and do action; so Shiney ends up getting more mature roles, but that
gives him an opportunity to display his acting skills.

I just went through your article and it is evident that since you have created a blog for Shiney Ahuja(yes, that is the correct spelling and not 'Shiny' as you have spelt in your blog) - I assume you must be his fan. Well, so am I. I love his work and think that he is a star who can act - the first star-actor combination that we have seen since Mr. Bachchan.
In keeping with that, I just wanted to highligt a few factual errors that you may want to fix - my sister was his batchmate at Army Public School, DhaulaKuan - so you can rest assured about the authenticity of my statements.
Foremost, his birthday is May 15, 1977 - his parents were married in the year 1970 - so, there is no question of Shiney's birth year being 1969. Further, he has an older sister, Shweta Lamba, who is currently living in California.
Second, his first film is Hazaaron Kwahishien Aisi, however, Sins released first. Kal was his fourth film. Karam was his third film.
I can see that in all likelihood you have picked up the incorrect information on him from the Internet - I would be grateful if you could help in correcting the factual errors about him through your blog.
Best wishes,
Meera
