Sneha Ullal, a Mangalorean born in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, is an Indian Bollywood actress. Her mother tongue is Konkani. She rose to stardom with her first movie Lucky opposite Salman Khan, who discovered her. She did her initial schooling at the Indian School Muscat. She then attended Durelo Convent High School in the suburbs of Bandra. Later, she went to MMK College, Mumbai, with Khan's younger sister Arpita, who told her brother about her. Indian media shot her to fame for her performance in Lucky.

Her first film, Lucky, was a moderate success. Sneha recently starred in Aryan with co-star Sohail Khan, who is Salman Khan's younger brother. Though later the film was delayed due to some unrevealed reason it was released and has gone without any remarks. She bears an uncanny resemblance to Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai. It is believed she got the role in Lucky because of her resemblance to Aishwarya Rai who was the estranged girlfriend of Salman Khan which is not true. She has again signed for another movie called CLICK also starred Shreyas Talpade and a Telugu film with the director Karunakaran.
